I always like a new year. It gives me the opportunity to try once again to become a better me. Last year had many wonderful events, some not so wonderful, but life is a journey isn't it?
In December we took Carolee and kids back home after living with me for 10 weeks. Boy did that time fly by. Carolee's kids are so fun, and it was fun to see all the cousins play together. They sure love and enjoy one another.
While we were back East, we took a little jaunt to Washington DC for three days. Burrrr it was cold but the cold kept the tourist home, so that was nice.
We loved visiting Mt. Vernon and learning about Gen. George Washington and his wife Martha. Two very dedicated and tremendous people. We owe much to what they gave for our new country. It is always fun to be with my husband on these trips. We have a lot of fun being together. We really enjoy learning about history, and people.
It's great to be home again. There's No Place Like Home!

So glad you were able to come back with us to Erie:) I know it made it easier on the kids. We now have a lot more snow than what is in those pictures, brrr!!
